Research Interests
Thermodynamics & Phase Separation
We investigate the thermodynamic principles governing phase separation, focusing on free-energy functionals, chemical potential gradients, and curvature-driven phenomena such as the Gibbs–Thomson effect.
Phase-field Modeling for Microstructure Evolution
We develop and apply phase-field models to study microstructural evolution, including multicomponent diffusion and approaches that omit elastic interactions for clarity and computational efficiency.
